- History: Special course on Canadian Literature has been offered since 1979, another - elective - course on Canadian Literature, History and Culture since mid-1980's. Canadian Studies Specialization Program started in 1992, and the Canadian and Québec Studies Independent Program in 1994.
The Canadian and Québec Studies Programme is an independent programme. This means that students regularly enrolled at any Hungarian university can take up the courses as either individual courses and/or as a cluster of credit courses leading to a special certificate that can be added to the original MA degree of the applicant. The conditions to fulfill are:
1) to take up and have a grade from at least six of the offered courses
2) to take up an "elementary French language exam" or prove the knowledge of basic French if the completed courses have been exclusively English.
Current teaching: Courses at the School for English and American Studies (Canadian Québec Studies Programme enclosed)
Library: Books covering history, literature, politics, economics - close to 2000 volumes.
