Note: After consultation with Marie-Laure de Chantal it was decided that the surplus would go towards the cost of the 3rd International Conference of Central European Canadianists in Krakow in 2004. Support for the conference will come in the form of a grant paid in two instalments, to be divided between the CESCCS’s budgets for the fiscal years 2002/2003 and 2003/2004. The surplus from the Bucharest conference will be deducted from the amount that would otherwise be included in the 2002/2003 budget.
