Informačné prostredie a vedecká komunikácia: aspekty vedeckej dátovej gramotnosti

Abstrakt


Účel – Cieľom príspevku je vymedzenie informačného prostredia v kontextoch vedeckej komunikácie a vedeckej dátovej gramotnosti vedcov v SR. Definujú sa základné pojmy ako informačné prostredie, vedecká komunikácia, dáta, vedecké dáta, dátová gramotnosť, vedecká dátová gramotnosť. Vymedzujú sa problémy interpretácie dát v informačnej vede, najmä typy dát v súvislosti s manažmentom vedeckých dát.

Dizajn/metodológia/prístup – Využívajú sa výsledky dvoch štúdií informačného správania a vedeckej dátovej gramotnosti vedcov v SR. Aplikuje sa kvalitatívna aj kvantitatívna metodológia výskumu, pojmové mapovanie a modelovanie.

Výsledky – Z kvalitatívneho výskumu informačného správania vedcov SR sa predstavujú základné typy vedeckých dát ilustrované v pojmovej mape a informačné správanie vedcov. Výsledky prvého prieskumu vedeckej dátovej gramotnosti vedcov v SR ako súčasti medzinárodného porovnávacieho online prieskumu naznačujú ochotu vedcov zdieľať vedecké dáta. Potvrdzujú sa rozdiely medzi disciplínami, záujem o kurzy manažmentu vedeckých dát a obavy z dezinterpretácie dát. Formulujú sa návrhy pre vedeckú dátovú gramotnosť a manažment vedeckých dát a obsah vzdelávania kurzov analýzy a vizualizácie dát.

Originálnosť/hodnota – Predstavuje sa novšia interpretácia informačného prostredia. Z výsledkov štúdií sa prvýkrát predstavuje obraz o informačnom prostredí vedcov v SR. Navrhuje sa koncepcia akademických informačných ekológií a novší model akademickej knižnice a podpora vedeckej dátovej gramotnosti a dátovej infraštruktúry ako novšie perspektívy informačnej vedy.
