Department Origins
The Department of Czech for Foreigners was established in 1993 on the basis of the 25 years of experience that Masaryk University’s Faculty of Arts had hitherto gathered from its Summer School of Slavonic Studies. Due to burgeoning interest in Czech studies, the Department came up with several new course in addition to the month-long course.
The Department of Czech for Foreigners offers these studies

Summer School of Slavonic (Czech) Studies (a month-long intensive Czech language course)
