Department of Czech for Foreigners

Study

All applicants for courses of Czech for foreigners have to file an application form directly to Department of Czech for foreigners (by fax or mail). (An application form is available for each course at the end of the page.)

The applicants for courses of Czech for foreigners are allowed to register for our Czech courses in the IS after they get an acknowledgment of acceptance for the study at the Department of Czech for foreigners and when they pass an entrance test.

Czech Language Courses for Foreigners

A) Intensive language courses for students intending to study at a Czech University
(Pre-intermediate, Intermediate and Advanced)
/ one semester - 13 weeks, 5 hours a day / 		EUR 2 100
B) Courses for foreigners, lasting a semester or a year
(Beginners, Pre-intermediate, Intermediate and Advanced)

THE APPLICANT SHOULD PAY THE BANK CHARGES!!!

If the students with the visa requirement don't get a visa to the Czech Republic, we will refund them 75% of the whole school-fee, which was paid. If they send us the document about the visa deny, we will send them the money via bank transfer.
We will also refund 75% of the school-fee to the students (without visa requirement), if they cancel their attendance in the Czech course.

Assessment

Courses will end with a final written test in grammar, Czech orthography, conversation (essay) and with an oral examination in conversation, phonetics and interpretation of a literary text (for advanced students), depending on the level of study. Certification of the results (for a given study level) will be provided on the basis of these tests.
