Studia archeologica brunensia has been published annually since 1956 (until 1995 in Series E – archaeologica et classica) by the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic. It welcomes contributions in the field of archaeology and related disciplines.

Guidelines for contributors
Submission Criteria
Submissions may be in Czech, Slovak, English, German or French. Submissions must be in .doc or .rtf format. Articles should be accompanied by two hard copies. Articles should not exceed 27,000 characters (including spaces). This figure includes footnotes/endnotes. Reviews, reports and information should not exceed 9,000 characters. Figures and graphic material should be sent in the page frame format 127 x 175 mm, quality B&W photographs are preferred. It is advisable to hand in graphic materials in .jpg or .tif formats. The journal retains the right to make language corrections to all texts; all changes are subject to the author’s approval.
All submissions must include the sender’s complete name, address, and contact information (telephone number, fax number, e-mail, etc.)
Publication Criteria
SPFFBU, řada M (Studia Archaeologica Brunensia) has ranked among reviewed scholarly journals since 2005. All contributions must therefore meet its established formal and academic criteria. Submissions are reviewed anonymously by two scholars in the field who are neither members of the Editorial Board, nor affiliated with the same institution as the author. On the basis of these independent reviews, the Editorial Board of Studia Philosophica makes decisions on publication and scheduling. The editor will inform authors of the reviewers’ assessments in a prompt and timely manner.
No financial compensation for publication in this journal is available. The final decision on publication lies with the Editor of SPFFBU, Series B.
