Ateismus, teismus a justifikace privátní evidence
Radim Bělohrad
Abstrakt
This article deals with epistemic justification of faith by means of private religious evidence. It assumes foundationalism and the internalist concept of epistemic duty and argues that the method of acquaintance of God by means of the process of private experience cannot be regarded by an atheist / naturalist to be a reliable method. Therefore, conversion just on the basis of such experience must be seen as epistemically unjustified. Further, an argument as to the atheist's epistemic dishonesty for not seeking the verification of the God hypothesis despite its being a legitimate hypothesis is rebutted.
