1 / 3 Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University Measure No. 18/2020 Implementation of HR Award – HRS4R Project In accordance with § 28, Paragraph 1 of Act No. 111/1998 Coll., for Higher Education Institutions and the Modification and Amendment of Other Acts (Higher Education Act), as later amended (hereinafter the “Act”), I issue the following Measure: Article 1 Subject matter and purpose of the regulation (1) The purpose of this measure is to define the basic framework for the implementation of the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) at the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University (hereinafter "FF MU"). The aim is to create a long-term sustainable, international, prestigious, open, transparent and ethical work environment for domestic and foreign researchers at FF MU. (2) This effort of FF MU is supported by the implementation of the activity Setting up strategic management of a research organization in accordance with the conditions for obtaining the HR Award FF MU and the activity Current state of strategic setting of human resources, gender equality and management of research organization within the project Development of human resources and other strategic areas for research support at MU (HR4MUII, reg. no. CZ.02.2.69/0.0/0.0/18_054/0014703), co-financed by the European Union (hereinafter referred to as the project). (3) On 1 January 2020, the implementation of this project was launched, leading to obtaining and subsequently maintaining the HR Award at FF MU and confirming the compliance of its research staff policy with the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. (Commission 2005/251/EC), endorsed also by FF MU. (4) The management of FF MU considers the implementation of this project and the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) to be a strategic priority. Article 2 Target groups All employees of the faculty provide the necessary cooperation to the project team and collaborate in the preparation and implementation of all activities related to the project. 2 / 3 Article 3 Organizational matters (1) The project is implemented under the auspices of the Dean and the Vice-dean for research & development. (2) The staff scheme for the project implementation is provided in Annex No. 1 to this measure. Article 4 Final Provisions (1) I authorize the Vice-dean for Research and Development to interpret this measure, continuously update it and to monitor compliance. (2) This measure comes into force upon signature. (3) This measure comes into effect on the day of its publication in the public part of the website of Masaryk University.
