Commentary on the announcement of the Award of the Dean of the
Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University for Outstanding Educational
Activity
The FF MU Dean's Award for Outstanding Educational Activity complements other awards
- the FF MU Dean's Award for Outstanding Student Thesis, the FF MU Dean's Award for
Significant Creative Achievement and the FF MU Dean's Award for the Popularization of the
Humanities and Social Sciences.
It is announced as a part of the FF MU Teacher's Week.
It is intended for academic staff members and lecturers of the FF MU who have made a
long-term, significant contribution to outstanding educational activities, thus contributing
to the spread of the Faculty's good reputation.
The award is granted both for specific educational achievements (innovations in teaching,
non-traditional didactic procedures or teaching aids) and for long-term quality teaching
that exceeds the normal faculty average.
