We are a proud holder of the HR Award!
The European Commission awards the HR Excellence in Research Award to research institutions that implement a human resources strategy based on the 20 principles of the European Charter for Researchers (formerly the 40 principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers). To date, the European Commission has awarded this distinction to more than 740 European research institutions.
In 2019, the Faculty of Arts at Masaryk University adopted these principles and, as a research institution, committed to creating high-quality working conditions, supporting professional development, and ensuring transparent procedures for the recruitment of researchers. In 2021, it was awarded the HR Excellence in Research label.
The implementation phase of the project took place between 2021 and 2026, during which the steps outlined in the Action Plan were gradually carried out; starting in 2023, the Revised Action Plan was implemented to achieve the set goals. The year 2026 marks the faculty’s defense of the HR Excellence in Research award.
