The organizing committee of the Česká hlava project and the Government of the Czech Republic are announcing the Česká hlava competition for Czech scientists, designers and talented university students. The winners are decided on the basis of nominations by an independent jury composed of representatives of universities, the Academy of Sciences and practitioners.

Prices are announced in the following categories:

1. Czech Head of Government National Award for lifetime contribution to the scientific field, financial reward CZK 1,000,000.
2. ABB Award, Invention Award for discovery in the field of basic or applied research or technological innovation, taking into account the prospects of usability in practice, financial reward CZK 250,000.
3. Industry Award for the most significant technological or product innovation made in the Czech Republic in the last few years.
4. ČEZ Award, Doctorandus Award for Natural Sciences for the best work of a student of a doctoral study program in the field of technical sciences, financial reward CZK 50,000.
5. Veolia, Doctorandus Prize for Natural Sciences for the best work of a student of a doctoral study program in the field of natural sciences, financial reward CZK 50,000.
6. Award of the Health Insurance Company of the Ministry of the Interior, Lorem Award for work in the field of healthcare, medical care, pharmacy and fields dealing with human health, or for the original medical procedure, financial reward CZK 100,000.

The deadline for nominations for this competition is 30th June 2022.
