The Rector announces the internal “ComMUNIty Fund 2026” competition, open to student applicants, each of whom must be supervised by a MU employee.

Project proposals may be submitted in the following thematic areas:
A. Faculty/departmental theme in the area of “Water and Biodiversity” – the specific requirements of individual faculties/departments are defined in more detail on the Community Fund | Sustainability at MU website (a total of 14 proposals were collected from 7 faculties and CEITEC; the project proposal must be consulted with the contact person listed in the relevant call for proposals before submission) .
B. Responsible Water Management and Biodiversity Support – a project proposal outside the faculty/department’s priority theme but linked to the Strategy for Responsible Water Management and Biodiversity Support.

Basic parameters of the call:

• Eligible applicants are MU students at any level or in any form of study, with a selected MU employee as a mandatory co-investigator (supervisor).
• Funding of 50,000–200,000 CZK may be requested per project (non-investment costs only).
• The project implementation period is set from June 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027, at the latest.
• Project submissions are made entirely electronically via the Project Information System (ISEP) from March 2, 2026, to April 30, 2026.
