Czech-German mobility

• Duration: 24 months
• Total possible subsidy: CZK 400 000
• The call is not thematically limited.
• The program supports bilateral research cooperation in the form of mobilities between Czech and German institutions.
• Mainly travel costs and short-term stays are financed, which are intended to support the establishment or development of cooperation.

Czech-French mobility

• Deadline: July 16, 2026
• Duration: 24 months
• Total possible subsidy: CZK 400 000
• The call is not thematically limited.
• The call supports bilateral projects focused on the mobility of researchers and the development of scientific cooperation between the Czech Republic and France.

Call for applications for grants for international VaVaI projects: Danube Region

• Deadline for applications: June 30, 2026
• Implementation period: 2027–2028
• Total possible subsidy: CZK 250 000-350 000 (depends on the number of partners involved)
• Duration: 24 months

The call is part of the Multilateral Scientific and Technical Cooperation (MSTC Danube) funding program and aims to strengthen international research partnerships and researcher mobility. The main objective of the call is to support the establishment and development of international research projects with the participation of organizations from several countries of the Danube Region. Supported projects must be multilateral in nature, with the involvement of at least three partners from three different participating countries. Along with the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Montenegro, France, Croatia, Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia and Serbia are participating in the 5th call.

The emphasis is placed on:

• development of international scientific cooperation,
• sharing of know-how between research organizations,
• support for mobility of researchers,
• preparation of projects with the potential for follow-up international grants.

Support includes mainly:

• travel costs associated with the implementation of the project,
• short-term research stays,
• working meetings of project teams.
