The Inspiration Forum of the Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival has announced the third edition of the Inspiration Forum Matchmaking Programme 2026.
Matchmaking brings together researchers and documentary filmmakers. The aim is to support the creation of documentary films, podcasts or series based on current research and specialist knowledge. Selected participants will have the opportunity to attend individually arranged meetings with documentary filmmakers, receive expert consultations and benefit from further media and professional support, including, for example, collaboration with Czech Television. Applications for research projects can be submitted via the online form by 15 September 2026. Face-to-face meetings between the selected research teams and filmmakers will take place during the MFDF Ji.hlava festival from 26 to 28 October 2026.
The partners of the Inspiration Forum 2026 Matchmaking open call are the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic and the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic.
