The Technology Agency of the Czech Republic announces the preparation of the 15th public competition in the SIGMA Program for the Support of Applied Research and Innovation – Sub-objective 3, Support for the Innovation Potential of Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts:

The competition period will be from January 21 to March 18, 2026.

Four areas and 12 research topics have been defined for this public competition, with each project proposal having to cover one area and one selected research topic from the chosen area. A description of the areas and research topics will be published on the TA CR website before the public competition is announced.

Thematic areas:

1. Disinformation and cognitive security;
2. Safe and adaptable public space;
3. Local economic resilience;
4. Community cohesion, resilience, trust, and security.
