The LUKE Joint Call, an international call for proposals under the LUKE (Linking Ukraine to the European Research Area) program, opened on February 27, 2026, with the aim of supporting the involvement of Ukrainian research teams in international cooperation in research, development, and innovation. Project proposals can be submitted until May 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. CET.
For Czech applicants, the national conditions are based on the SIGMA program, sub-objective 4. The Technology Agency of the Czech Republic has allocated EUR 1 million to the call, with the maximum intensity of support for Czech partners reaching 80% of eligible costs. Both research organizations and companies can apply for support.
Projects must be submitted by international consortia of at least three partners from three participating countries, with a partner from Ukraine being mandatory. The call focuses on the areas of energy, cybersecurity, medical and health research, and social sciences and humanities. A total of 11 countries are involved, including the Czech Republic and Ukraine.
