Artist Talk with Eva Vaňová not only about the project Mapping Through the Children’s Eyes

Eva Vaňová will present her participatory project Mapping Through Children’s Eyes, which she has been developing since 2021 across various communities in Košice and Brno. Together with children, she creates personal maps of places, relationships, and experiences, which she then transforms into textile artworks carrying both children’s imagination and a distinctive artistic expression.

Art Workshop and Guided Tour of the Exhibition Mapping Through Children’s Eyes

The creative participatory program accompanying the exhibition Mapping Through Children’s Eyes invites you to slow down and look at familiar places from a different perspective. At the beginning of the session, Eva Vaňová will introduce her collaboration with the DROM Roma Center and explain how workshops with children lead to the creation of personal maps of the places where they live.

La vorágine) by the Colombian author José Eustasio Rivera, a classic not only of Colombian but also of Hispanic American literature. The exhibition of the Embassy of the Republic of Colombia traces the author’s life and the genesis of the work, as well as several of its Czech translations. In English.

Presentation of the Programme for the Support of Czech Cultural Heritage Abroad
