Introducing the New MIHOO Platform

  • 6 May 2026

  • Online

We are pleased to invite all interested individuals to the presentation of the new MIHOO (Magistri Iohannis Hus Opera omnia) database, which was created by researchers from the Institute of Classical Studies and has recently been published on the Digiscripta platform.

The database serves as a dynamic scholarly resource for studying the works of Jan Hus, their dissemination, and their reception. It compiles comprehensive information on texts authored by Jan Hus or attributed to him, including manuscript tradition, early printed editions, modern critical editions, and relevant secondary literature. By integrating diverse sources and references, it offers an essential foundation for advanced research on one of the most influential figures of the late Middle Ages.

The database is primarily intended for codicologists, philologists, and historians, but it can also be useful to a broader professional and lay audience.
