Eva Vaňová, Mapping Through the Children’s Eyes: traces, objects, and images of Cejl (Exhibition)

How is the city experienced through children’s eyes? The participatory project Mapping Through Children’s Eyes, developed by Eva Vaňová since 2021, turns children’s experiences of public space into drawings and objects. Their memories and emotions form places of safety and vulnerability. Created with children from Cejl, the project opens a sensitive dialogue about our relationship to the environment we share. Presented within the Brno Art Week.

Curators: Šárka Kovaříková, Petra Melicherová, Viktória Kurrayová

The exhibition is open every working day from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Free admission. Follow the Galerie Edikula website and social networks for more information and opening dates.

The event is funded by the Scholarship Programme for the Support of Social, Cultural and Artistic Activities of Students of the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University.
