Exhibition Terezie Tomková: Þingvellir

The Þingvellir exhibition, inspired by Jiří Žák's poem, is a site-specific installation that transforms experiences from the Icelandic landscape into a work of art. The installation made up of natural elements and objects creates a dreamy, even surreal image that interweaves fragments of memories and poetry. The author's artistic intervention explores the mystery and poetics of Icelandic nature, where the magic of surfaces, colours and light come together, drawing the viewer into the mythical atmosphere of nature.

Curators: Eva Švecová and Michaela Izakovičová

The exhibition is open every working day from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Follow the Galerie Edikula website and social networks for more information and opening dates.

The event is funded by the Scholarship Programme for the Support of Social, Cultural and Artistic Activities of Students of the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University.
