Student Ecocritical Colloquium

Are you interested in the relationship between stories (not only) in literature and the environment? Have you ever thought about how stories can reflect climate change or raise issues of animal abuse? What about the relationship between artificial intelligence and the environment?

If you are interested in such topics and feel like sharing your thoughts with others or just contributing your insights to the discussion, we cordially invite you to the Student Ecocritical Colloquium, which will take place on Friday 17 October 2025 at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University. You can also look forward to the accompanying programme.

Students of Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes from all over Masaryk University are welcome.

We would be happy to welcome anyone interested in ecocriticism to the colloquium - whether you join in the discussion or just come as an audience member.

You can apply for active participation until 15 September 2025. Please fill in the registration form with the title of your paper and an abstract of no more than 1000 characters including spaces.
