DCC Summer School of Literary Translation

8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

The Summer School of Literary Translation will focus on the topic Vertalen en/als adaptatie ("Translation and/or Adaptation"). The topic will be explored through five lecture and workshop sessions. Participants will also work on the translation of an excerpt from the play Wunderbaum speelt live – Online gaat het mis by the Flemish renowned author Annelies Verbeke, who will join us online for an author reading and a discussion of the translation challenges presented by the text.

Suburban Camp: Descendants of the Olympians

9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

A brand new programme of the traditional summer suburban camp, during which children will learn about Greek mythology and the everyday life of ancient man. Organised by the Department of Classical Studies, Faculty of Arts, MU.
