Faculty of Arts and the National Library plan cooperation in the field of science and education
Tomáš Foltýn, Director of the National Library of the Czech Republic, and Irena Radová, Dean of the Faculty of Arts MU, signed a declaration on cooperation between the two institutions. "The parties to the memorandum at this moment undertake to develop cooperation in the fields of education and science, librarianship and information science and have decided to conclude this memorandum with this aim," both parties declare in the document.
For example, the Memorandum can help involve library experts in teaching at the Faculty of Arts MU and help students get internships and placements at the National Library. Both institutions plan to cooperate in popularising science, organising various events and conferences and sharing research projects, including digital humanities, medieval manuscripts, etc.
