This richly illustrated book features writer Edward Bass as a talented narrator of short fairytales. It is the first complete edition of a set of 43 fairytales from around the world that Bass rewrote according to German models. Some of the texts were published in magazines during Bass’s life, some later in book collections, but twenty fairy tales from the author’s body of work remained untouched. The complete book of stories was prepared according to specific editorial principles by a graduate from the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University, Hedvika Landová. The result is a well-crafted book that will enchant both children and adults.
