The objective of the project is the modern procession Great Moravian necropoles and a detailed archaeological analysis of the obtained source material. On its basis an attempt be made precisioning of hitherto chronological schemes and the formation of th e assumption for the computer database utilisable for processing further find sets dating back to that period. Besides the scientific contribution not even the importance of the project for the preservation of the national cultural heritage can be neglec ted.
