Description The article examins the phenomenon that commonly occurs in three monotheistic religions - Judaism, Christianity and Islam - and perhaps in other significant religious systems of the world. This term has been traditionally referred to Greco-Latin term Exodus. The topic can be described as cutting kin and tribal ties and comprises a decision of a group of individuals or a community of adherents to depart (emigrate) from their original environment and to build up a new community/state based on the "righteous" ethical values.
