Description This paper focuses on Karel Floss’ creative work. Floss entered the history of Czech philosophy through a series of meditations on Czech and Moravian thinkers (Metoděj Habáň, Jan Amos Komenský, Josef Ludvík Fischer), who significantly influenced his life and his philosophical orientation toward the integrity of man considered as a spiritual being as well as a creature engaged in the social sphere. In conclusion, the author adds a commentary on the relationship between Karel Floss and Masaryk.
