Description Death is an inevitable and integral part of human beeing. There are many scientific approaches engaged in its exploration and we can find various forms of death also in literature. My contribution focuses on the motif of death in the short stories of a Slovenian writer and LGBT activist Suzana Tratnik. Even though Tratnik’s prose is known for its featuring of lesbian themes, the motif of death is often repeated. I will focus mainly on those texts whose main character is a woman and examine the perception of death in various literary figures.
