| Description | The category of feminine is a universal lingvistic category. In Russian the category is marked on nouns that are used in naming individuals through the word-formation proces. In contemporary Russian using suffixes to indicate the feminine shows that the derivation of feminine forms masculine nouns is becoming a productive proces in Russian. |
