| Description | Professional colloquium revealing the theme of IDENTITY in the cultural image of Czechoslovakia and its peoples, history, events, arts and personalities from the perspective of exhibitors and performers. The authors of exhibition projects, which are an example of the revision of important and often controversial historical phenomena, authors or institutions, will present themselves here: Dream and Reality, Unwanted Heritage, Paneland, Brno Art Open - Sculptures in the Streets with the University ad. We are interested in how to build or revise a historical narrative for exhibition purposes and how to convey it aptly through visual culture. We also ask about the general pitfalls and individual or local specifics of the curatorial and historiographic projects discussed. |
