| Description | The article considers the applicable ideas of building an open-air museum in the Znojmo region. The first part of the article defines the geographical locality of the Znojmo region, which is associated with the historical displacement of the German-speaking ethnographic group "Thayaner" (Podyjanů), the subsequent new settlement, and re-emigration. The second part of the article offers specific examples of folk buildings, such as the Dyje-Svratka house, as well as viticultural buildings including sandstone cellars, press houses with a barrel vault, and wine houses from Znojmo and its surroundings. |
