Description The text presents political jargon from the perspective of the possibility of its inclusion in the substandard of the literary language. Political jargon is considered as a specific part of the lexical system of a particular language, represented mainly by collocations that name specific phenomena in political and social life. This study examines examples of Bulgarian political jargon that have arisen locally in recent years, naming realities from the specific Bulgarian political life and which do not have an exact translation equivalent in other languages.
