| Description | The artistic manifestos of modernism can be understood as a theoretical reflection announcing new practices in art, new ways of depicting reality. It is a proclamation of a set of rules for a new creation or a new conception of art. The aim of this paper will be to present artistic manifestos with regard to how and to what extent they recommend, reject or advocate narrative, descriptive and performative practices in artistic production. |
