Description At first glance, it might seem that museum educators, due to their usually small numbers in individual museums, are automatically limited in their possibilities and opportunities for professional self-fulfillment. That they do not have sufficient human resources or their own strength to create unusual and extraordinary educational projects. Or that they may feel professionally lonely and isolated. In larger museums, it is not uncommon to have separate education departments with several employees, which gives museum educators the opportunity to discuss and collaborate with colleagues who have similar professional profiles. Are they perhaps completely alone in their educational work in smaller museums? And does the only museum educator in an institution become solitary and detached from others? The very nature of the museum educator's profession implies the need and necessity for communication, and not only with the museum audience. Museum educators gain partners and "allies" among other museum educators, other colleagues in the museum, but often also outside their own institution. The activities of a museum educator can be influenced by interaction with other interested colleagues, enthusiasts outside the museum, museum partners, and various other collaborating entities. This gives rise to extremely interesting and inspiring examples of cooperation and exceptional projects that often transcend the boundaries not only of the institution, municipality, or region, but even of the Czech Republic. In addition to traditional presentations, the conference also offered workshops, round tables, and excursions, including one abroad.
