| Description | The lecture deals with the influence of J. V. Zlobitzky on the Czech Vocabulary of his time: he helped to enrich it, made it more precise and supplemented it with focus on recording of dialectal words. His contribution in this field remains evidence of his responsible and well-educated attitude to the Czech language until today. The paper was presented at the international anniversary conference ‘250 Years of Czech Studies at the University of Vienna’ where Zlobitzky was appointed to the world's first professorship for Czech language and literature. |
