Description This project, embedded within research and scientific events conducted by the two partner laboratories (CRILUS, University of Paris Nanterre, and the Aquilino Ribeiro Research Center - Camoes Institute, Masaryk University), aims to jointly reflect on the emergence of non-hegemonic epistemologies (Mignolo) implemented by this generation of writers committed to unlearning a colonial imaginary (Esbell, Krenak). It will be structured around a study day, planned for 2026, to which European and Brazilian academics, as well as Indigenous authors, will be invited. Through an interdisciplinary approach to Indigenous authorship, this gathering will provide an opportunity to experiment with a sufficiently broad conceptual framework to grasp the stakes of an innovative aesthetic that, in order to convey its cosmologies, reappropriates and deconstructs the literary canon. The second phase of this project will be devoted to the publication of the resulting works. In addition to theoretical reflections from various specialists, space will also be reserved for the voices of indigenous writers. By publishing translations of their poems or excerpts from their prose texts, we hope to introduce these authors to a wider audience.
