| Description | On the last Saturday in May, we will bid farewell to the current exhibition dedicated to Josef Mack, designer at TON. His work and lifelong pursuit of the "perfect chair" have been brought to the public's attention thanks to the research efforts of PhDr. Dagmar Koudelková and Mgr. Karolína Kouřilová. Through exhibitions and promotional activities, the National Center for Furniture Design, a public benefit corporation, has contributed to raising awareness of the incredible work of Josef Macka, as well as other designers working in post-war Czechoslovakia. Come and spend a pleasant Saturday afternoon with us at Villa Tugendhat and perhaps learn something more about your own piece of "retro" furniture. Bring your chair or a photo of it! Our invited guests will help you uncover its origins. |
