Description Between 2023 and 2024, systematic excavation continued at House No. 33 of the Linear Pottery Culture (LBK) at the Kyjovice site, “Sutny V”, in Sector X8. Excavation revealed a continuation of the longhouse (5.5 × 26.5 m), whose plan, based on pottery, belongs to the later phase of LBK (Phases II–III according to Čižmář 1998), with isolated finds from the Lengyel culture. Material derives primarily from construction pits — ceramic fragments, daub, stone tools, osteological and anthropological remains. Osteological finds (domestic aurochs, pig, sheep/goat, wild horse, fox, dog) indicate animal husbandry and a dry, steppe environment. Near the southern part of the house, a child’s burial (H30) was uncovered in a flexed position without grave goods, dated to the LBK. Skull and bone fragments allowed age estimation at 3–4 years; sex could not be determined. Teeth show caries, hypoplasia (stress between ages 2 and 3), and high abrasion — evidence of coarse diet from early childhood.
