| Description | The presentation presents a methodology for the economic evaluation of measures to improve air quality, developed within the TAČR project, which aims to support transparent and effective decision-making by public administration at the municipal and regional levels. The methodology combines cost-effectiveness analysis (CEA) and cost-benefit analysis (CBA), allows for the comparison of measures according to unit costs for reducing emissions of selected pollutants and includes monetary expression of health benefits associated with reducing population exposure to polluted air. The evaluation is based on a systematically built database of projects from public registers and action plans and includes standardization of costs, quantification of emission and air pollution impacts and their projection into health effects in specific locations. |
