| Description | This paper focuses on the 7th Prague Quadrennial – PQ 1991, the preparation and the actual holding of which fell during a significant transition period: former Czechoslovakia had participated in PQ 1991 newly as a democratic country. As such, it analyzes the form of the “national scenography” of that time, that is the Czechoslovak exposition in relation to the aesthetics of the 90’s geopolitics. Focusing on the organizational factors that influenced the exhibition strategy, the paper names the curatorial approaches to the whole PQ 1991’s conceptual framing. |
