| Description | The chapter presents the origins, goals, and activities of POLONUS – the Polish Club in Brno, founded on January 13, 1997. The organization brings together the Polish community and Czech Polonophiles in Brno and its surroundings, continuing earlier Polish and Polonia traditions. Its mission is to Polish identity and promote the Polish language and culture in South Moravia. The club achieves this through meetings, celebrations, educational programs, and cultural events. POLONUS contributes to Polish-Czech dialogue and fosters a positive image of Poland in the Czech Republice. |
