Description This output presents an open-access digital critical edition of Proice omnia ista, a Latin graduation (inception) speech attributed to Jan Hus and intended for the inception of an otherwise unknown candidate at Prague University, probably shortly after 1400. The text survives in three fifteenth-century Bohemian manuscripts now held by the National Library of the Czech Republic (Prague): X C 3, X H 18, and VIII E 5. The edition is encoded in TEI P5 and provides a reconstructed text based on manuscript A, supplemented where necessary from the remaining witnesses. Full collation is reported through a critical apparatus. Transcription follows Bohumil Ryba’s rules for Latin texts of Bohemian provenance, ensuring consistent treatment of medieval orthography and scribal practice. Beyond the TEI source file (released under CC BY 4.0), the accompanying web presentation offers user-oriented access to the text and its variants, including links to digitized manuscript images and navigable editorial notes.
