| Description | Adam Grygar's book I v Terezíně rostou sedmikrásky presents the life and musical work of Erich Adler, a personality oscillating between a love of music and a family tradition of textile production against the backdrop of crucial historical moments of the 20th century. Adler, born in 1911 in Kynšperk nad Ohří to a Czech-German-Jewish family, is a telling example of a person who was so-called “born wrong”. Due to circumstances, he had to move and change jobs several times during his life, was persecuted, faced bans, and eventually ended up living in exile. |
