Description The paper focuses on a comparative analysis of specialised medical terminology in Czech and Ukrainian. Its aim is to identify the linguistic differences that affect the work of Ukrainian healthcare professionals in the Czech Republic and to show how linguistic inclusion can help reduce vulnerability in healthcare settings. The acquisition of the Czech language by Ukrainian healthcare professionals appears to be a key factor in effective adaptation and safe communication with patients. For the purposes of the study, a comparative analysis was conducted of 253 lexical units drawn from the fields of medical terminology and everyday communication between doctors and patients. The results point to specific terminological barriers and offer insights for pedagogical and digital tools that support inclusive practice in healthcare.
