| Description | Ladislav Kobsinek (* 1903) was a man of no scruples, mental unbalanced malcontent highflier. He had great ambitions, but petty abilities. In rank of lieutenant was displeased with his duties. Still a young man Kobsinek decided to turn to politics. Publicly shown himself sympathetic to Italian fascism, Kobsinek become a member of NOF. The National Fascist Community (Národní obec fašistická, NOF, sometimes translated as National Fascist League) was a Czechoslovakian fascist movement led by Radola Gajda, and based on the Fascism of Mussolini. The party was formed in 1926, and was distinguished by a strong current of opposition to Germany, which continued even after Hitler had come to power. The NOF instead looked to Italy as its model, and based itself wholly on Mussolini's National Fascist Party. During the night in January 21/22, 1933 broke in Brno the Židenice Mutiny out. This was an attempt on the part of 70 to 80 local fascists headed by Kobsinek to overthrow the government by means of a military coup. The mutiny was immediately suppressed and Kobsinek was imprisoned. |
