Description The arcitle analyses the image of Asian religions in several medieval Euroepan travel accounts - reports of William of Rubruck, John Plano Carpini, Jordanus Catalanus, Odoric of Pordenone and John of Marignola. The aim of the article is to point out commom significant features of the authors' concepts of "a religion", which can be characterized especially by an emphasis on religious practice.
