Description The Court of the First Moravian Margraves. The article deals with court circles under Margraves Vladislav Henry (1198-1222) and Premysl (1227-1239). Among other findings, it concludes that their internal structure corresponding with Bohemian conditions. In Moravia too, a decisive role in the life of the court played the offices of butler, cup bearer and constable, which were connected with steady inocme (beneficium) and were preserved even at the times when Moravia was without a margrave.
