Have you ever got lost in a hospital? An exhibition in Brno

The exhibition demonstrates why finding one’s way around healthcare facilities is a problem that affects both patients and healthcare professionals daily, and how a well-designed system can transform it. You’ll follow a journey from real-life patient experiences through research (including eye-tracking) to specific proposals for wayfinding systems, developed in collaboration between designers, researchers and healthcare institutions.

You’ll see that the wayfinding system isn’t just a collection of signs but a well-thought-out whole based on how people think, move, and make decisions under stress.

The exhibition presents a project carried out by Czechdesign in collaboration with Masaryk University and Bulovka University Hospital. The result is not only a new design for a wayfinding system, but also a methodology for the Ministry of Health that can help hospitals across the Czech Republic.
