A test of fire alarm systems, signalling and evacuation radio will trigger a fire drill on 20-22 July.
On 20-22 July 2020 (always from approximately 8:30 a.m.), a coordinated inspection of fire safety equipment (EPS - electrical fire alarm system including associated fire protection systems) will be carried out in the buildings of the MU Faculty of Arts according to the following schedule:
As part of the inspection of fire safety equipment ("PBZ"), a "fire alarm" will be triggered via the EPS with subsequent activation and control of downstream fire protection systems (closing of fire shutters in the cloakrooms of Building A, automatic closing of HVAC dampers, activation of CHÚC ventilation, activation of light beacons, etc. ), including the activation of the evacuation loudspeaker system, which will call for leaving the buildings in question (it will be clearly audible in the Arna Novák courtyard). During the test, the operation of lifts will be restricted, and the electricity supply to the buildings will be partially disconnected (Building M will be completely disconnected from electricity for approximately 30 minutes as part of the "TOTAL STOP" test).
During the test, the premises will be occupied by MUF maintenance personnel and, to the extent necessary, by companies inspecting downstream fire protection systems (PBZ).
