(Updated 19 June 2025) A practice fire alarm will trigger a test of the fire alarm systems, signalling and evacuation radio in each building.
The coordinated inspection of fire safety equipment (EPS - electrical fire alarm system, including related fire protection systems) in the buildings of the MU Faculty of Arts MU will be carried out in two phases according to the following schedule:
As part of the control of fire safety equipment ("PBZ"), a "fire alarm" will be triggered via EPS with subsequent activation and control of downstream fire protection systems (according to the equipment of individual buildings), including activation of the evacuation announcement, which will call for leaving the buildings (it will be audible even in the courtyards). During the test, the operation of lifts will be restricted, and the electricity supply to the buildings will be partially disconnected (buildings A, B1, B2, and E).
During the test, the premises will be occupied by MUF maintenance personnel and, to the extent necessary, by companies inspecting downstream fire protection systems (PBZ).
